KFC hosts iftar for underprivileged children
TO SPREAD joy among underprivileged children during the month of Ramadan, KFC Bangladesh organised a special initiative titled ‘Eidi for Angels’.
The event was held at a KFC restaurant in Dhaka recently, where children were invited to enjoy a festive iftar featuring KFC’s signature meals, said a press release.
Alongside iftar, the children were also provided with a variety of educational materials, stationery, and toys such as books, notepads, pencils, colour palettes, Rubik’s Cubes, Ludo sets, puzzles, carom boards and chess sets.
Through this initiative, KFC Bangladesh aims to share the spirit of Eid with underprivileged children and believes that they deserve equal opportunities to celebrate the joy of Eid just like everyone else, the release said.
Amit Dev Thapa, chief executive officer of Transcom Foods Limited, said, “It brings us great joy to organize an iftar and present gifts to underprivileged children through this ‘Eidi for Angels’ initiative. As part of our commitment to the community, KFC Bangladesh will continue to undertake such initiatives in the future.”
